Peach Banana Yogurt Pouches

I've never been a fan of baby food pouches. Mainly because the kids squeeze the heck out of them and make a total mess. But also because they don't promote learning how to use a spoon -- which is an important skill in life. So I've not given one to my son at all in his 1 year on this planet.

Over the holiday weekend we spent time in Florida with my family celebrating my son's first birthday. While there, my sister offered Eli a squeeze pouch since her kids were having them. So I thought, why not. Let's see if he likes it. In the past we've tried applesauce on a spoon a number of times with no luck - but since it takes at least 17 tries to know if you like something, what's one more try. To my surprise, he was in to it!

Rewind to when Toys R' Us was going out of business - I scored one of those Infantino Squeeze Stations for a great price with plans to make something for my son in the future. And since Eli liked the pouches in FL, I figured today was as good a day as any to get started!

Turns out Eli did great with the pouch! He insisted on doing it himself and really didn't make any mess until he was done - that's when he started playing.

Today I made PEACH BANANA YOGURT POUCHES - this recipe is packed with protein (just what my carb-aholic needs), fiber, vitamins, minerals, and tons of flavor!
